Simple method for preparation of antibody-enzyme conjugates for enzyme-linked immunosorbent assays.

P J De Jong

ABSTRACT

Mixing suspensions of rabbit antibody for staphylococcal enterotoxin A and commercial anti-rabbit immunoglobulin G-alkaline phosphatase conjugate produced a complex conjugate suitable for use as the second antibody in a conventional enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay. The method was useful for detecting 1 ng of staphylococcal enterotoxin A per ml.
