Volume 42, no. 6, p. 2872-2874, 2004. The title should read as shown above. "Helcococcus pyogenica" should read "Helcococcus pyogenes" at every occurrence. The revised proposed species name "Helcococcus pyogenes" is consistently masculine in gender, whereas the originally proposed name "Helcococcus pyogenica" was an inappropriate combination of a masculine term with a feminine one.
