Nucleotide sequences of Staphylococcus aureus set gene (set2, set5 and set7) targets used to generate a phylogenetic tree and make allotype assignments among study clinical and reference isolates (NCTC8325, MW2, MSSA476, MRSA252, Mu50, USA300 and N315). The nucleotide sequence (blastn) analysis was performed with a program provided at the NCBI website: http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/BLAST/. The number of descriptions was 100 and a total number of 50 alignments were used to conduct the analysis against all strains. The number above each sequence corresponds to the strain number used in the manuscript.
