Microbiol.1997 Mar 01; 35 AB - The prevalence of hepatitis G virus (HGV) and hepatitis C virus (HCV) infection was determined by reverse transcription-PCR in 777 individuals with and without risk factors for viral transmission via blood. From our results we conclude that transmission of HGV and that of HCV are favored by similar risk factors.
